Ciutadella park is one of the venues of Merce Festival in Barcelona. The space is transformed into a platform for events related to light and technology. Radial is one of the proposals included in this programme. It is a live show, by MID and Playmodes, developed with the support of the arts production centre Hangar. Radial, on show by the lake of Ciutadella's park, brings together for the first time the works BlueBeams, by Playmodes, and The Particle, by MID.
BlueBeams is an installation based on the synchronization of motorized laser beams and surround sound. The Particle, by Alex Posada, is a kinetic sculpture exploring colour, sound and movement, and is inspired by the origins of life.
