Light Worm was a very simple light installation consisting of sequenced wireless RGB lights, to indicate to people the direction of their walk, being used as a guidance system to reach its destination.
The lights were enclosed inside a cylinder made of polypropylene, which acted as a diffuser, creating a simple yet beautiful design. For it, we used a custom software to create all the patterns and behaviors that evolve and change in real time.
This project was developed by MID and PlayModes for the lighting festival LlumBCN 2014 in Barcelona.
