Carles Casagemas was a Catalan Spanish art student and poet, best known for his friendship with Pablo Picasso. The exhibition Carles Casagemas. the artist beneath the myth, showcases all of his artwork and is the result of a notable work coordinated by all the departments of the Museu Nacional.

This project was commissioned to MID by the National Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) in 2014 to develop a digital tool to navigate the Casagemas ’galaxy’ of works in a simple and fast way.

In order to reach the public with the maximum amount of information about the author's work, an interactive installation was developed where, through a touch screen, the viewer can visualize on the wall what we call the “Casagemas Galaxy” that contains information on aspects of his life and work distributed in sections such as "Family," "Artistic environment," "Geography Casagemas," among others. If you click on them, different nodes appear that project the entire Casagemas cosmology as a whole. It contains more than 100 entries, each with texts and photographs, both works and spaces or characters linked to Casagemas.
